Description
The Neuro Connection Foundation provides long term ongoing rehabilitation services for adults with conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Acquired Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions. We are a not for profit organisation funded in part by the Ministry of Health, and have been operational for well over 20 years.
The Neuro Connection Foundation utilises a Hungarian method known as Conductive Education. This method is respected worldwide for its integrated approach to disability management over a person's lifetime. We are the only adult specialised Conductive Education Centre in New Zealand. Our specialists are all extremely experienced rehabilitation specialists trained in Hungary.
Our customised small group sessions provide a positive, supportive, active, motivating environment in which each individual is empowered to achieve their highest level of independence physically, emotionally and socially. Private sessions are also available pending schedule availability.
Our services operate out of our purpose built facility in peaceful Tui Glen Reserve. Our catchment area is Auckland wide.
