MATAORA Services – Peer Support Advocacy
Peer Support Advocacy performs a range of tasks through individual and group encounters to assist tangata whaiora of mental health and addiction services in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The PSA role focuses on recovery and ongoing coping skills, serves as a whaiora advocate, provides information and peer support in their rohe, hapu, iwi and community.
