Orthotics
QE Health is the Orthotics Department for Lakes DHB.
QE Health provides a comprehensive orthotic service to the Rotorua and Lakes region (including a bi-weekly clinic run from Taupō Hospital). QE Health is an ACC accredited orthotics provider and can also see patients privately, without GP referral as well.
QE Health manufacture and make orthoses on site to suit the needs of the individual and their condition.
Orthoses provided include:
- Custom and customised foot orthoses
- Ankle bracing
- Ankle Foot Orthoses for drop foot and instability
- Knee orthoses for acute injuries and chronic conditions
- Lumbar supports
- Spinal orthoses
- Upper limb bracing
