Description

txtpēpi is a free text messaging programme providing information and support to mothers and whānau in the Lakes region during pregnancy and the first two years.

There are four versions of txtpēpi messages;

  • Te Reo for mothers
  • Te Reo for whānau
  • English for mothers
  • English for whānau

These messages are tailored according to language, gestational age/child’s age and personalised by name, pēpi name, pēpi gender.

txtpēpi is available to pregnant women, or mothers of a baby less than 6 months of age, and their whānau living in Lakes DHB region. Once signed up, māmā and whānau can receive the programme until their child is two years old.
