Well Women Franklin

Community Health Service

Well Women Franklin provides a Peer Support Group to women and their families in the Franklin area who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing antenatal and/or postnatal distress.

We also assist women who are affected by other mental health disorders that are worsened during pregnancy and motherhood, including anxiety disorders and PTSD.

Our groups meet weekly with two trained facilitators who guide the meetings. The group offers a safe environment for mothers to share their feelings with others. Often this can be a huge relief for those who may not be able to discuss their feelings with anybody else.

We also offer free childcare for our daytime group sessions.

For more information on our support group please contact us via email or telephone.
