Dr Charlene Borges graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Distinction). Following her studies, she gained valuable and wide-ranging experience working in both the public sector—at Middlemore and Greenlane Hospitals—and in private practice.

A proud local, Dr Borges grew up in Te Atatū and continues to call it home. Her decision to practise in her own community stems from a strong desire to provide residents of Te Atatū and surrounding areas with access to high-quality dental care, right on their doorstep.
