Interests
Dr Lucija Matkovic graduated in 1987 from the University of Zagreb School of Dentistry. After two years hospital experience she worked in the public health system in Croatia for three years.
Lucija moved to New Zealand in 1994 where she started working as an associate in a group practice for ten years before joining Massey Dental Centre in 2007.
She is experienced in all aspects of cosmetic and general dentistry with a special interest in Crown and Bridge work as well as Prosthetic treatments. Preventative dentistry, including the prevention of tooth decay and gum/periodontal problems, is of particular interest.
Lucija is committed to providing high quality dentistry to all her patients in a gentle and professional manner, and maintains continual professional improvement through regular industry courses and events.
Away from work Lucija loves to spend time with her family and enjoys many outdoor activities, swimming, music and reading.
