Donna Bell

After working as a School Dental Therapist in Southland for several years Donna spent 7 years in England and the U.S.A. While in the U.S.A Donna returned to college and studied Dental Hygiene, as well as working part-time as a dental assistant in an oral surgery department at a local hospital. Upon graduating as a Dental Hygienist Donna returned to New Zealand and worked in Auckland at a periodontal specialists practice. Here she received valuable experience and support in the treatment and prevention of gum disease and implant care. The lure of the greener pastures of Southland was too strong for Donna and her husband, so after an absence of 10 years, Invercargill became home once again. With family commitments, Donna returned to part-time work in 1999 and has been with Tooth Works (previously Craig and Hilary Family Dentists) ever since. Donna was a founding member of the NZ Dental Hygienists’ Association and enjoys attending conferences and courses to continue her professional development. Outside office hours Donna is involved in a busy family and home life, tries to stay fit and healthy, and really enjoys holidays!
