Dr Chi graduated from Cardiff University in 2007. After working in Wales as a junior doctor he moved to NZ in 2009 and has not looked back since! He gained further experience at Waikato, Thames, Wellington and Hutt hospitals before completing his GP training in Wellington and Christchurch. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in palliative care and minor surgery. Outside of work Chi has a wide range of interests. He practices yoga and meditation and is a keen sportsman, playing competitive tennis. He also enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking and is excited to explore all Queenstown has to offer.

A "Vocationally Registered" doctor has qualifications and experience that allow them to be registered as a specialist in a particular scope of practice e.g. General Practice, Urgent Care. These doctors can work independently in New Zealand.
