Dr Chris Tofield

Chris completed his medical training at St Bartholomew’s & the Royal London Hospital in London. He has since gained extensive experience in General Practice, co-founded a clinical trial unit and spent several years in clinical research. He has published several medical papers, is clinical advisor to Bay of Plenty District Health Board, and is medical advisor to Research Review, NZ’s largest medical publication. Chris also has a background in medical writing and editing and while at medical school published a medical textbook on pharmacology.

‍Chris’ main passion though, is skin cancer detection and treatment. He holds qualifications from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, including the Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy and the Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
