Profile

Dr. Clinton (he/him) is a multifaceted professional, starting his career with a degree in Architecture from Unitec in 1994. He contributed to Team New Zealand's America’s Cup win in 1995 both as a draftsman and sailor. Afterward, Clinton relocated to San Diego, dedicating six years to designing America’s Cup class yachts for Dennis Conner and other high-profile clients like Walt Disney. A pinnacle in yacht design came when the yacht he co-designed, Alfa Romeo, claimed victory in the 2009 Sydney to Hobart race.
 
Switching careers, Clinton returned to New Zealand in 2004 to pursue a medical degree from the University of Auckland, which he obtained in 2009 while also serving as a volunteer paramedic. He initially specialised in ENT and Cardiothoracic surgery before embracing general practice. Since 2012, he has been based in Christchurch, with professional interests in Minor Surgery, Vasectomies, and Dermoscopy.
