Dr Clive Low

Dr Clive Low is an experienced general and interventional cardiologist.

In addition to his interventional work he has special expertise in heart rhythm disturbances, hypertension, heart failure and preventative cardiology.

Following his graduation with Distinction in Internal Medicine at the University of Otago Medical School, Clive trained in Christchurch and Dunedin, then at St Mary's and Hammersmith Hospitals in London. He has also attended the Advanced Angioplasty Course at the Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City.

Clive worked as a consultant interventional cardiologist at Dunedin Hospital from 1993 to 2000, when he returned to Christchurch. Clive and Dr Tim Hull formed Heart Specialists in 2000, where he has established a sound reputation as a cardiologist in private practice.

Clive has experience in all forms of angioplasty including atherectomy, stenting and intravascular ultrasound.
