Profile

Cynthia is from The Netherlands and moved to New Zealand with her family in November 2016. After graduating from the University of Amsterdam, she completed her training in Tropical Medicine and worked together with her husband in South Africa for several years. After working in Africa she completed her GP training also in Amsterdam. Cynthia enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, with a special interest in minor surgery and women's health. 

She likes to travel, explore the outdoors and get to know different cultures. This and lots of sunshine brought her to Whakatāne.
