Profile

Dr David Chan was born and educated in Gisborne and graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1986. He has an interest in paediatrics and promoting overall health through fitness and exercise. He encourages an exercise based holistic approach to improve a patient's wellbeing. He is a keen skier, kite-boarder, kite-blader and he has been a regular competitor in the Round Taupō bike race for the past 12 years. He has been aiming to run the Auckland Half Marathon in under 2 hours  for the past 15 years  and Round the Bays fun run in 40 minutes. He has extensive knowlege of sports nutrition and training.
