Profile

Dr Mimi Chiu is a Dunedin based specialist ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in oculoplastic surgery, lacrimal disorders and ocular oncology. 
 
She completed her ophthalmology training in New Zealand then obtained further subspecialty fellowship in oculoplastics and ocular oncology at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology at Gartnavel General Hospital in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

  • Oculoplastic/eyelid surgery: eyelid malposition, ptosis (droopy eyelid), blepharoplasty, lid lesion excision and reconstruction
