Dr Zaveri attained a masters degree in orthodontics and in periodontics from the University of Mumbai. He was the first person to achieve the distinction of a double master's degree at the university's dental faculty.
He has completed his specialist registration in orthodontics in New Zealand and has been in private practice for the past 12 years in Auckland.
His vast experience in periodontics, a specialty dedicated to maintaining healthy gums and the treatment of gum disease, provides a unique and valuable feature in his treatment methods. Dr Zaveri suggests gum conditions and diseases are most commonly under-diagnosed and because the disease does not have many symptoms it is not perceived as a problem by people.
