Dr Prue Murdoch graduated from Otago University in 1980, and attained Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practictioners in 1992. She has worked as a family doctor in Dunedin since 1984, and has been a partner at Amity Health Centre since 1997. Her professional interests are in family medicine, the primary health care team, and in student mentoring.
