Dr Simon Bainbridge

I have previously worked as a consultant psychiatrist at a Community Mental Health Centre in Counties Manukau District Health Board. I currently work as an inpatient consultant psychiatrist with Auckland District Health Board at Auckland Hospital. This job mix provides me with extensive experience in dealing with mental health problems that occur in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I also hold an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer position with the University of Auckland.

I am currently studying for a postgraduate Diploma in Business through the University of Auckland. This postgraduate degree is a departure from the scientific world of medicine and provides me with an insight into the unique stresses experienced by people running small to medium sized enterprises.
