Dr Erica Lauder
MB ChB 1981 Auckland; FRNZCGP 1999
Being a family doctor is very rewarding and it takes up most of my time. I enjoy being part of a traditional General Practice where family care is my priority. It is important to me to provide for the diverse health requirements of my patients. I continue to practise Obstetrics (antenatal and delivery) plus I care for the young, the elderly, the total family health. I strive to promote wellness.
My other love is my family. Rob and I have four children, now spread around the world pursuing their dreams. Holidays are spent visiting them, and any spare time I have is devoted to sewing reproduction quilts.
I am happy to be living and working in Devonport with the community I love.

COVID-19 : we want to help our patients get well and protect our staff and community.
In Levels 3 and 4, please do not present to the clinic if you are unwell without speaking to one of our staff first.
If you have cold or flu-like symptoms including cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, fever, runny nose or sneezing, please contact the clinic on 09 972 9020 to arrange a time to be swabbed by one of our team.
Swabbing is by appointment only. Please call us on 09 972 9020.
COVID testing is FREE - you will not be charged for your swab unless you are travelling out of NZ
The safety and well-being of our patients and staff is a priority for us, and so patients visiting for COVID-19 swabbing are directed to a different parking area, away from the main entrance. Swabs are carried out in your car where possible, and if an assessment is required, this is done in an isolation room.
This means that if you need to visit the clinic for another reason, for example your flu vaccine, you will not be exposed to any areas where COVID-19 swabbing is taking place.
Testing is a vital part of stopping the spread of COVID-19, and we are happy to be helping with this part of the response plan.
There is also a dedicated Healthline number for Coronavirus enquiries – 0800 358 5453. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
