Profile

Dr. Kerryn van Rij has been with The Doctors St Heliers for three years and brings over 13 years of general practice experience. She became a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners in 2016. After having children, Kerryn developed a strong passion for primary care, with special interests in Women's Health. She holds Postgraduate Diplomas in Paediatrics, Sports Medicine, and Public Health, and is committed to health promotion and empowering patients toward healthier lifestyles.
Kerryn values the Eastern Bays community for its diversity and strong connections across generations. Outside work, she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, and supporting her children's sporting activities.
