  • Dr Muhammad Asim gained his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore Pakistan. He did Surgical training in Pakistan (FCPS-1 and MRCS) and then spent a few years in Japan doing liver transplant research before moving to New Zealand.
  • Dr Asim has worked in all major hospitals of New Zealand in medical and surgical specialties.
  • His special interests include minor and skin cancer surgery, Sports Medicine & steroid injections, fracture and trauma care. He has completed certificate courses in Sports Medicine and Emergency Paediatrics from the University of Auckland. He has also completed Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine from HealthCert/Bond University, Australia.
  • He is a dual Fellow with College of Urgent Care and General Practice & one of the directors for Lifeline medical centre.
  • Dr Asim is a GP teacher with RNZCGP and Hon Lecturer for University of Auckland Medical School.
