Dr Ruth Cameron
MB ChB 2002 Otago; FRNZCGP 2010
Ruth completed her training at the University of Otago Medical School in 2002. She has lived and worked in Tauranga since then, spending 10 years as a GP before having time off with her young family. She is a strong advocate of a holistic model of wellbeing – considering diet, exercise, mental and spiritual health in the context of wellness; aiming to not only treat disease, but to keep the population healthy in the first instance. Spare time is enjoyed with family, in the garden, and in nature – running and doing yoga.
