Alexandra Family Medical offers a wide range of health care services. A team of general practitioners, nurses and administration staff work from the Central Lodge historical building in Alexandra, providing professional healthcare to you and your family.

Our team is made up of 4 GPs (see details below under “General Practitioners”) and:

Appointments between 9.00am to 4.45pm, with GP or Practice Nurse

We share after hours cover with the other practice for patients needing attention outisde business hours, in the weekend and during public holidays. Alexandra Family Medical is as well a participant in the Central Otago After Hours service that provides cover for the whole Central Otago region.

Public Holidays: Closed Otago Anniversary (22 Mar), Good Friday (2 Apr), Easter Sunday (4 Apr), Easter Monday (5 Apr), Queen's Birthday (7 Jun). Open Labour Day (26 Oct), Waitangi Day (Observed 8/2/21) (8 Feb), ANZAC Day (Observed 26/04/21) (26 Apr).
