Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

My Vaccine Pass - get in person

Our service can help you request and print a My Vaccine Pass for free. Bring your NHI number if you can when you visit. You do not need to have ID or an email address. You will be asked some personal details so you can be found in the system.

Covid-19 testing

Not provided

  • Patients that meet the case definition and require swabbing should call Healthline (0800 358 5453) for advice.  If you need a test they may suggest you visit a Community Testing Centre.
  • Once you know you need a test, please call 0800 885 022 and you will be referred to our Community Testing Centre or a dedicated general practice for your test.
