COVID-19 Vaccination

  • Pfizer vaccine (12+ years)
  • Anyone currently eligible can access
  • No appointment required
  • Walk in

City Medical is now open to Vaccinate anyone currently eligible for the Vaccine, appointments not necessary.  We have walk in Covid Vaccination Clinics Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm.  We are Level 2, 190 Lambton Quay Wellington

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled patients only

We organise COVID testing for our enrolled patients. Please call the practice for more information before coming here.

In most cases we will refer our patients to the Wellington community testing centre; you will be called back with an appointment time. We may carry out Covid testing at the practice for our enrolled patients when necessary, by appointment only.

We also have some availability for casual patients who have NO SYMPTOMS and need the mandatory International pre-travel COVID testing.

Casual patients with symptoms should contact their own medical centre or attend the community testing centres: https://www.ccdhb.org.nz/our-services/covid-19-community-based-assessment-centres-cbacs/
