Clendon Family Health Centre

Primary Healthcare Service

Clendon Family Health Centre was opened in 2001 after two years of planning and work. We are very proud of the end result, which is a beautiful and functional new centre housing three doctors, three locums plus a registrar. We also have three practice nurses, three receptionists, a practice manager and a pharmacy.

Clendon is a young suburb to the west of Manurewa and on the edge of the Manukau Harbour in South Auckland. It has a mixed population with a large proportion of Maori and Pacific people as well as quite a few immigrant families from Asia. There are also a number of elderly patients from the nearby village in Weymouth and a residential complex for intellectually handicapped adults provides plenty of challenges in patient care.

We are seeking to provide a high quality service in superb facilities to a community with a large proportion of high needs patients.
