Enrolment

Choosing to enrol in our care brings with it responsibility on both our parts. As enrolment attracts funding from the state, it is the responsibility of Coast to Coast Health Care to provide you with quality primary healthcare which is as low cost to you as possible. But in return, it is the responsibility of the person enrolling to use our services - for not to do so, will involve the transfer of funds from our service to that which you use, thus compromising our capacity to keep the cost to you low.

Clearly there are times when using our service is not possible (e.g. while away on holiday). When this happens, the GP you see will forward a copy of your visit records to keep us informed.

We provide 24 /7 care to our patients and provide on call services from 8pm till 8am daily.

From October 2016 we have a PATIENT PORTAL available for you to access your personal health records in the same way as online banking. To access this you will need to complete a consent form which is included in an ENROLLMENT form. Via this portal you can request your repeat telephone scripts, Laboratory Results and have access and messages sent to your personal email address to keep you informed and in touch. Recalls can also be sent via this portal.

We try to roster doctors at their medical centres but at times with afterhours cover we may not always have your preferred GP available, and at these times there will be another GP to continue to provide you with health care.

We are a TEACHING PRACTICE and will have House Officers and Registrars who are completing their General Practice training at clinics with teachers providing support. At times we will also have Medical students and you will be asked ahead of time if you consent to consult with them ahead of your GP visit.
