Description

Your own family doctor, in the heart of South Dunedin for over 60 years.

At Dunedin South Medical Centre, you can usually see your own family doctor within a day or two. We believe that continuity of care is important, particularly for people who have chronic health issues or complex needs. You are almost always able to see a doctor on the day that you call if you have an urgent need.

We’ve always kept our fees for our patients as low as we can. South Dunedin is densely populated and is one of the most socioeconomically deprived urban areas in the country. We are proud to be a Cornerstone Accredited teaching practice for medical and nursing students.

To enrol, pop in and talk to the friendly receptionists at 351 King Edward Street between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Bring some ID, and don’t forget your Community Services Card!

We do not offer emergency services.
