The Southern District is rolling out the vaccine to Group 3 in the Ministry of Health sequencing framework in a staged model. Currently, eligible groups are:

  • People aged 65+
  • People with relevant underlying health conditions
  • Disabled people
  • Pregnant people
  • Maori and Pacifica 

Vaccination Clinic is open Tuesday - Thursday between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

If you are getting a flu, MMR or other vaccine, it will affect timing of the COVID-19 vaccination. Please discuss with your health provider.

He Puna Waiora Wellness Centre is a VLCA Very Low Cost Access GP Practice offering doctor and nursing services and rongoa/natural therapies.


He Puna Waiora Wellness Pharmacy is open Monday and Tuesday 9am-7pm and Wednesday-Friday 9am-5pm, 92 Spey Street, Level 1.
