Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

Description

We are a Whānau Ora Centre of Taumarunui Community Kokiri Trust.

Whānau Ora focuses on whānau as a whole rather than individual whānau members and strives for whānau empowerment and success. The Taumarunui Community Kokiri Trust has developed a comprehensive wrap around service to meet the health and social welfare needs of the community and in particular the needs of Māori.

At Maniapoto Whānau Ora Centre we provide a Family Health Clinic (see below), Kokiri Te Oranga Pai - Mental Health and Addiction support and whānau, community health and social services. We also offer Workplace Drug and Medical testing.

The Family Health Clinic offers a full range of family medicine and general practice services.  Our experienced health teams of doctors, nurses and administrative staff enjoy caring for all our patients with compassion, dignity and respect.
