MGP continues to care for our patients with the extra load of winter illness Please read note below if you have respiratory symptoms - you can still be seen if needed but please continue to always tell us about any respiratory illness symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, chills, sneezing, body aches, headache, nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea, tiredness) when you make a booking or before you come in, even if it is not the primary reason for your appointment, so we can see you in a way which keeps everyone safe.
We continue to offer telehealth appointments.
- If you are attending the practice with any respiratory symptoms please wear a mask, we have these available in the wating room to reduce the risk of spreading infections. Watch for updates on our website www.mgpdoctors.nz .
- Please only come with one problem so you will only spend 15 minutes maximum onsite except in special circumstances like minor surgery
We realise there will be some situations where these requirements may be difficult to meet - if so then discuss with reception and we will work out how we can still look after you.

- We are a fully computerised group practice of 6 Doctors - see below.
- We have 2 Practice Nurses and 3 Receptionists .
- Consultations are by appointment only. Existing patients may book telehealth or onsite appointments online via our website www.mgpdoctors.nz or telephone our receptionists during office hours for in person appointments.
- Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.
- Parking is available
- There is a branch of Labtests and we have three Pharmacies, a Physiotherapist, an Optometrist and Dentists all close by.
- The Meadowbank Plunket rooms are just around the corner in Meadowbank Road.
We have a wheelchair available for use within the surgery.
