The North End Health Centre and Junction Doctors have been providing quality medical services to their registered patient population, rest homes and employers since 1982.
The North End Health Centre and Junction Doctors' services include:

- ACC Services and Sports Medicine
- Immigration Medicals and Traveller Health
- Pre and Post Employment Medicals/Testing
- Full Drug and Alcohol Screening and Testing
- Minor Surgery
- We are a teaching practice affiliated to the Otago School of Medicine
- From July 2019 we will become Oamaru's first Health Care Home
Our team is made up of GPs (see details below under “General Practitioners”) and:

Reception Team: Julie, Delwyn,Rosalyn and Mary-Claire (mainly at Junction Doctors)

After Hours: Urgent calls are handled on roster system made up of Oamaru GPs. The after hours emergency doctor can be contacted on 03 434 9444
Generally the doctor on call will hold clinics at weekends and public holidays.
The clinic times when North End Health Centre is on-call are available on the above emergency number. No appointment is required but please attend at the start of clinic time.

Public Holidays: Closed Easter Sunday (21 Apr), Labour Day (28 Oct), Otago Anniversary (23 Mar), Good Friday (10 Apr), Easter Monday (13 Apr), ANZAC Day (27 Apr). Open Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Queen's Birthday (1 Jun).
Christmas: Open 23 Dec — 24 Dec. Closed 25 Dec — 26 Dec. Open 27 Dec — 28 Dec. Open 28 Dec (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Open 29 Dec (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Open 30 Dec — 1 Jan. Open 1 Jan (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Open 2 Jan (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Open 3 Jan.

This practice is enrolling new patients.
There is a standard fee. Complex problems, minor surgeries and materials will have an extra fee added.
For ACC consultations, a surcharge plus materials used cost will be charged (ACC no longer covers the full cost).
If you have any problems with payment, please discuss confidentially with the Reception Team.
