Prebooked (4days in advance) an appointment with a Nurse Shinal for a stitch removal at the otahuhu clinic for 10.30am, we reported to reception an waited, 1hour wait, I approached desk again only to be told they had no idea that the nurse had not turned up. There was no communication that nurse shinal would not be present for her shift and now we had to be rescheduled to next available appointment in 2days time. When asked if they can at least do a clean of wound site. This was declined as the nurse working was not skilled?

Its already hard enough to get appointments now its hard to be sure you have one when you turn up. Unreliable and wouldnt recommend

The recent service provided was absolutely appalling, I'm sorry to say. This is meant to be a medical practice with a patient in the end of the chain but hasn't proven to be so. I needed some iron tablets from my specialist as this is where I got them from the last time. My specialist recommended I contact my GP for it which I did on Friday 29th April. The lady who answered the phone told me it was too late to do meds and someone will call me on Monday 2nd May. No one has called me until now (Wednesday 4th May). However my chemist tells me that they have a prescription ready for me and I'm like what prescription cos I haven't spoken to the nurse or the doctor? The doctor has prescribed me the tablets that I haven't even asked for and without a medical professional talking to me. How pathetic!!!! Do you call yourselves medical professionals? I loved my doctor (Dr Choola) and my previous nurse at Rangitoto Medical Centre. You'll need to do a lot to prove yourselves as medical professionals. Onecare isn't the correct name for whoever is providing this sort of medical care. Bring back Dr Choola and Rangitoto Medical Centre!!
