Immunisation
Immunisation is the safest and most effective way to provide protection for you and your tamariki’s health. For more information view the NZ immunisation schedule.
We are administering FREE FLU vaccines for eligible populations.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for FREE seasonal influenza vaccination in 2023:
- Pregnant people (any trimester)
- People aged 65 years older
- Māori and Pacific peoples aged 55 to 64 years
- People aged 6 months to under 65 years with any of the medical conditions listed here
- People under 65 years of age who have schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder; OR are currently accessing secondary or tertiary mental health and addiction services
- Children aged 6 months to 12 years inclusive
FREE COVID boosters are available for:
- People aged 30 and over or at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
**It will need to be at least 6 months since your last COVID-19 booster or a positive COVID-19 test**
FLUAD QUAD (unfunded) for 65 years and older are also available.
FLU and COVID vaccines are available Mondays to Fridays from 9:30am-3:30pm. No appointment needed. Anyone who is eligible can walk-in. Please ask reception.
