We are a general practice aiming to provide quality healthcare to you and your family.
Consultations are by appointment only. Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.
We are currently taking a limited number of new patients.
If you would like information about enrolling in Counties Medical GP Clinic to see one of our GPs, please call into our Papakura or Takanini Clinic and one of our staff will be happy to assist you. Papakura is our main GP clinic, open Monday to Friday, with Takanini our satellite clinic, open two days per week. The Doctors at Takanini also work at the Papakura Clinic.

We are committed to making the enrolment process easy for you - we are able to email you the information and forms you need to complete. Alternatively you can pick up the forms from one of the Clinics and one of our staff can assist you in completing them if you require.

Our team is made up of two GPs (see details below under “General Practitioners”) and:

Please call our number for out of hours assistance. Your call will be answered by a registered nurse.
Takanini is the satellite GP Clinic of our main clinic - 6-18 O'Shannessey Street, Papakura, which is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.
The GP Clinic at both sites will be closed for the Christmas New Year period on the statutory days only - December 25th and 26th and January 1st and 2nd.
Please ensure you get your requests for your repeat prescriptions into the clinic by Thursday 13th December. We will be very busy with prescription requests for the holiday period so to ensure there is no delay for you, get these in by this date.
Public Holidays: Closed on all public holidays.

Note that eligibility criteria apply for the $18.50 fee, otherwise the consultation fee is $30. Different charges apply to casual and non-enrolled patients and for other services.
