We are an established general medical family practice providing primary health care to the people of Drury, Karaka, Papakura and outlying communities since 1985. 

The Doctors Drury are committed to working in partnership with you to achieve the best possible outcome.

  • Repeat prescriptions for regular medication can be requested via our new APP 'The Doctors' - code to use DRUR when creating an account
  • Our online booking option is currently turned on for your current GP. If you cannot find an appointment and need to be seen you will need to phone us on 092943005 to speak with a receptionist.

Hours

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are closed all public holidays and every weekend. Please note we close at 4pm the day before a public holiday.

On normal week days our phones switch on at 8am each weekday and turn off at 5pm Monday to Friday; and 4pm the night before a public holiday. 

Patients are requested to always ring and book an appointment with your nurse or doctor.
For repeat prescription requests and lab results or to book an appointment please use our online patient portal.

Our nurses are often not able to immediately take your call as they care for the patients with booked appointments. If you wish to have a call back from a nurse please ask reception to put your name on the nurse queue. The nurses will then ring you as soon as they are able.

AFTER HOURS
After-hours Telephone Consultation: 09 294 3005

Your after-hours calls are redirected to a Whakarongorau (formerly Homecare Medical) nurse triage service which provides a free after-hours telephone consultation with a registered nurse. When necessary, the HML nurse may advise you to go to an urgent after-hour's accident and medical centre for care (see below).

CANCELLATIONS
If you are unable to attend your appointment we would appreciate you advising us as soon as possible, at least 1 hour before your scheduled appointment.
You may be charged for this time if you do not cancel before a certain time.
