Description
Health 365
Health 365 bookings are currently turned off for all our sites due to some changes being made. We aim to have these up and running before the end of July. Please phone us for appointments in the meantime. Apologies for the inconvenience.
We are a Cornerstone Accredited Practice. The achievement of a Cornerstone Accredited practice signifies a practice's commitment to patients by meeting legal/safety and essential standards set down by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. This ensures you receive high quality care.
We are a family centred surgery offering a full range of general practice services to you and your family.
Our surgery is located in the main shopping centre in Waimauku, next door to the Waimauku Village Pharmacy, and opposite the supermarket.
Consultations are by appointment only, but we always try to deal with emergencies when they arise. Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes. Double consults by request incur an additional fee. We endeavour to keep to time, but being a rural practice, delays due to medical need and fit-in emergencies will occur.
Staff

What happens if I need to see a doctor outside of these hours?
There are several options locally for provision of care out of normal opening hours. This partly depends on how urgent the problem is.
If you have an emergency please DO NOT contact the surgery but dial 111.
If your problem is fairly urgent (e.g. needs to be dealt with that day and cannot wait until the opening of the surgery the next day) then there are several choices.
If you are an enrolled patient you may call the surgery number Ph 411 5222 and be transferred through to our triage line for advice from our on call Nurse and Doctor.
Waitakere Hospital (open 24 hours), or North Shore Hospital (open 24 hours).
Our palliative care patients are cared for by the doctors at our surgery 24 hours a day and may contact the palliative care team (09 8349755) or phone the doctors directly on their cell phones.
Public Holidays: Closed on all public holidays.
