Description
Welcome to Tuakau Health Centre.
We are a rural practice situated in the heart of Franklin, approximately 50 minutes south of Auckland.
Our practice started out 25 years ago as a solo GP practice situated a little further down George Street. At the end of 2000, due to the growth of our practice, we moved into a brand new modern, purpose built surgery which was larger and closer to the CBD of Tuakau.
We are a teaching practice.
We have eight GPs and a Nurse Practitioner. They are: Dr Lorna Buhler and Dr Julia Lyons who are co-directors, as well as Dr Andrew Reid, Dr Nagham Hawa, Dr Angela Wagner, Dr Suyasha Lobo, Dr Istvan Orosz as well as a Registrar and Jo Eustace our NP. They all provide a variety of patient centred services as well as general medical consultations. Each has his/her own special interest.
We offer a wide variety of services including general medical consultations, minor surgical procedures, routine immunisations, travel immunisations, sexual health (U22) clinics, women's health clinics, diabetic clinics, spirometry, ECGs, diabetic retinal screening clinics, diabetic dietitian clinics and blood taking services.
We are currently accepting new patients.
