Description
Welcome to Tuakau Health Centre.
We are a rural practice situated in the heart of Franklin, approximately 50 minutes south of Auckland.
Our practice started out 30 years ago as a solo GP practice situated a little further down George Street. At the end of 2000, due to the growth of our practice, we moved into a brand new modern, purpose-built surgery which was larger and closer to the CBD of Tuakau.
We are a teaching practice.
We offer a wide variety of services including general medical consultations, minor surgical procedures, routine immunisations, travel immunisations, sexual health clinics, women's health clinics, diabetic clinics, spirometry, ECGs, diabetic retinal screening clinics, podiatry clinics and blood taking services (booked appointments only).
Staff
Jo Eustace, is our wonderful Nurse Practitioner who has over 25 years Primary Health Care experience.
Janelle Weren, is our new Community Nurse Prescriber and has over 17 years Primary Health Care experience.
Both Jo and Janelle are here to offer our patients great care alongside our GP's.

Different charges apply to casual and non-enrolled patients and for other services.
If you have a Community Services Card an adult consultation will be $19.50 and youth is $13.00
Casual Patients 18 years and over - $70.00 - must be pre paid before consultation
Casual Patients 13 - 17 years - $40.00 - must be pre paid before consultation
Prescription 48-hour notice $20 or same-day request $29.00
Please note pre-payment is expected for all prescription requests.

Currently we are closed for late nights and Saturdays during the COVID-19 Traffic Light System Red, Amber & Green.
