Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled patients only

We have a safe area at the rear of the clinic for testing patients requiring Covid swabbing who are enrolled at our practice. Covid swabbing is by appointment only and may be weather dependant. If you meet the current criteria for Covid swabbing or have been directed to be swabbed by the Regional Public Health Service, please contact our nursing team to arrange how we can provide you with this service.

Covid swabbing is undertaken by appointment at set times each day, weather permitting. Please contact our nursing team to discuss how we can provide you with a Covid swab.

Appointments are available from 08:30 to Midday and 14:00 to 17:00 hours week days. Appointments for urgent problems are held open for each day so there are "Book on the day" appointments. We will see sick children within the half day and adults within the day wherever possible. During all opening hours, our practice nurse team are available to discuss your health concerns and to arrange a suitable appointment for you. After hours, our surgery phone is diverted to Home Care Medical so you will obtain medical advice by ringing our practice phone number (09) 378 6280 at any time, night or day.

Appointments can be made either through our web based Patient Portal or by telephoning the practice.

Public Holidays: Closed on all public holidays.
