Description

We provide an excellent health care service to the community of Central Southland. 

·      After Hours - if urgent you can contact the Invercargill Urgent Doctor Service on 03 2188821, 105 Don Street, Invercargill 

 

·      If you live in Winton (or near surrounds) or are visiting someone here, you may be eligible to use the Ka Ora After Hours Rural Telehealth Service.

Winton enjoys the benefits of-having a base hospital nearby at Invercargill. 

The practice services a small rest home, and serves as a teaching practice for Otago University medical students, GP Registrar and Nursing Students.

We also work in conjunction with District Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Podiatrists located next door to our premises.

If they live in the Winton area and have a family member already enrolled, or have moved to the Winton Area and do not have a GP in Southland.

Hours

8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Mon – Fri 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

After hours: We partner with Ka Ora Telecare to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team.  

Ka Ora is available weekdays from 5pm to 8am and 24/7 weekends/public holidays.
