Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled and casual patients

This practice provides Covid-19 RAT and PCR testing to enrolled and casual patients, NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED PLEASE CALL FROM OUR CARPARK TO 07 5422277 to be put on our queue for testing. Testing is available during our usual opening hours 8-5pm weekdays and 8-12pm on Saturday.

Urgent Care Clinic

This urgent care clinic provides Covid-19 testing. Please call the clinic for more information.

Testing for International Travel

This clinic provides pre-departure testing for people who are travelling. Please call to book an appointment.


Tara Road Medical Centre is a beautiful, modern, and purpose-built surgery in Pāpāmoa, conveniently situated at the corner of Tara Road, Parton Road and Te Okura Drive.

We aspire to offer the highest quality medical and surgical care for our patients in a convenient manner.

Our staff is friendly, well trained and highly motivated to offer you a wide range of services. We offer both routine appointments and also emergency or acute care.

We have easy parking and a dispensing pharmacy and physiotherapist conveniently next to us.


Our team is made up of GPs (see details below under “General Practitioners”) and:

Healthcare Assistant: Leona

Receptionists: Shannon, Rosemary, Naomi, Jess, and Evi

We also have a Clinical Psychologist - Nemsha Naidu on our team. Nemsha consults at Tara Road Medical Centre on Mondays and Thursdays.
