Description

The Doctors Red Beach is a seven day a week Urgent Care facility, and family friendly General Practice.

Our General Practice provides appointments for our enrolled patients, offering medical services to promote wellness for you and your family.  Our dedicated team of GPs & practice nurses are here to provide support around women's and men's health, child and youth health, and long-term conditions (including diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular disease).

Our Urgent Care offers medical treatment for more acute and urgent matters, and is also available to non-enrolled patients.

We are located in the Red Beach Shopping Centre next to Unichem Red Beach Pharmacy.

As a registered patient, you can book a consultation either by calling the clinic on 09 427 9130, or by booking online through The Doctors Red Beach , our new application and desktop portal. 

Please note: Our team of health professionals are trained to provide you with care in many forms, and standard fees apply to all consultations, whether phone, video, or in-practice.
 
OUR URGENT CARE CLINIC IS OPEN from 8am daily and we are available to look after you for accidents, injuries, and other urgent ailments.

Useful Information About Our Fees

  • Payment is due at time of consultation.
  • All non-enrolled patients will be required to pre-pay for services.
  • Some services will incur additional fees depending on the time and nature of your visit.
  • A standard GP consultation is 15 minutes - please book a double appointment if you have lots to discuss.
  • There may be a charge for any additional time with the doctor.
  • Our practice nurses are skilled professionals and there is a fee when you see them for advice or services.
  • If you are enrolled with us and your matter is not ACC related or acute, it is more beneficial for you to be seen in a GP appointment.  If we can offer you a GP appointment within 24 hours, we encourage you to book this. For non-acute visits in Urgent Care there will be an additional charge.
  • Additional procedure charges may also apply.
  • If you have a Community Services Card, you may be eligible for a reduced consultation or prescription fee.

Hours: From 8am (Including Public Holidays).  Times and days do vary so please check special days BELOW to check for early close or full close

 

Public Holidays: Open on all public holidays The following public holidays differ to standard opening hours: Easter Sunday (20 Apr, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Other: Open 27 Apr (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). Open 28 Apr (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

Preferred urgent care clinic out of hours: Shorecare Urgent Care Smales Farm.
