Description
Wairarapa After Hours Service is based at Masterton Medical Centre.
It provides urgent medical care to ALL Wairarapa and out of town patients. You do not have to be a patient of Masterton Medical to use this service.
After hours is open weekends and public holidays, 9am-5pm.

PHONE TRIAGE AND COVID-19
We continue to offer phone triage for those patients who require it however you can now make an in-person appointment provided you have RAT tested negative.
If you currently have COVID-19 and require review, please ring us first and we will arrange to see you in a separate area.
Boxes of RAT tests are available at the front door. PCR testing is no longer available.
We ask that everyone presenting to the service to please wear a mask. This protects you, our staff and our most vulnerable patients. If you are unable to wear a mask, please let our team know BEFORE you come in.

Please note, there is no charge for a triage phone call that results in you then coming in to see the doctor, and there is no charge for a Covid test. If you feel you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible
