Our Services

The WBOP PHO supports and delivers primary health care and wellness services through general practices, iwi partners and community organisations from Katikati to Ōpōtiki. We do this by planning, funding and coordinating services, projects and programmes alongside providers. This helps us offer our wider WBOP community options to support their health and wellness needs.

Many of the services we fund or deliver are accessed through your general practice, community providers, and iwi partners.

Some services you can contact directly. These include free mental health and wellbeing support, free support to manage diabetes and make healthy lifestyle changes, free quit smoking coaching, free cervical and breast screening support for eligible people, and free school-based health services for students in Years 9 to 13.
