Dr Usha Shan

Usha Shan is a general surgeon and Lead Breast & Oncoplastic Surgeon. She established the breast nurse led clinic, developed the electronic breast triaging system, as well as guidelines and pathways on Health Point for GPs in Northland. 
Usha is a Board member of NZ National Training Committee, and is the RACS Training supervisor for surgical trainees in Northland. 
She put Northland on the international stage when she presented her audit of practice in relation to the      innovative Tennis Racquet incision surgery she performs —ORBS Nottingham 2015.
