Dr Santosh Mallappa is the Clinical Director of Wecare Family Health Centre.
After finishing MBBS from Mysore - INDIA, he migrated to New Zealand in 2010 for a good blend of work-life balance.
Santosh has worked at different hospitals in India, New Zealand and Australia and gained a wide range of experience in specialties including General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics and Radiology.
He has completed his GP training in the Auckland region and is passionate about traditional GP practice along with special interests in Māori health, Paediatrics and Chronic health conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension.
Outside medicine, Santosh likes to spend time with family and is interested in traveling, playing chess and nature walks.
