Interests

Dr McLintock is a haematologist and obstetric physician with interest in thrombosis, haematosis, preeclampsia, recurrent pregnancy loss and medical disorders in pregnancy.

At National Women's Health, Auckland City Hospital, Dr McLintock works with the High-Risk Medical Obstetric Team and is Lead Clinician for the Obstetric Physician Team at National Women's Health.

Dr McLintock provides specialist medical opinion for Repromed Auckland patients who require pre-pregnancy assessment for all general medical problems including thrombotic and bleeding disorders, hypertension, thyroid disorders.

Dr McLintock is a Senior Lecturer and Obstetric Physician for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Auckland Medical School and has given invited lectures at more than 30 medical conferences. She is a member of council for the Australasian Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and President of the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. Dr McLintock is also a member of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and is co-chair of its Scientific Subcommittee on Women's Health Issues.  She is a member of several international expert panels and advisory boards and has had her research published in numerous medical journals.
