Dr Sue Kirk

MB ChB 2005 Auckland; FRNZCGP 2014

I was born in Auckland and lived here during my school and university years. I worked in various roles including medical research in Brisbane and in the pharmaceutical industry in NZ, China and New York.  While living in Australia, I gained my pilot's licence and worked part time as a diving instructor. 

I returned to New Zealand to embark on a medical degree at the University of Auckland.  I completed a diploma of paediatrics before finally starting my career in General Practice which I thoroughly enjoy.  I am interested in providing well balanced medical care to people of all ages and to promote disease prevention.

I live locally and am married with two school age children.  I enjoy the outdoors, running, walking our dog, music, gardening and spending time with my family.
