Profile

My basic medical training was completed in The Netherlands. I then moved to the United Kingdom where I obtained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and completed Diplomas in Child Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  After working in the United Kingdom for six years I moved to New Zealand where I have worked for the last twenty years.  Currently, I tutor medical students and facilitate a group for senior registrars in General Practice.  I also lead groups for General Practitioners and work part-time for the Medical Council.  I enjoy establishing a genuine long-term relationship with my patients and their families and am committed to ensuring my patients receive the best health outcomes.  I am married with adult and teenage children.  My interests are yoga, music and getting out for long walks on the weekend.
